This blog has a few goals. Gaining followers isn't really one of them, although I know from previous Interwebz experience that that sort of thing is often a deadly combination of unavoidable and addicting. Mostly, this blog is for writing.

I've always been a writer, even if not the best storyteller, and despite my hard core Liberal Arts education I find I don't do enough of it. And just like the other things I don't do often enough (like exercise) after long enough of neglecting an activity, it shows.

So here's to writing. Here's to returning to my roots while still rushing headfirst into an uncertain future. And here's to the hours I will spend agonizing over a theme.
